DelFair
Terms of use
Last updated 14 October 2026
About the app
DelFair is a calculator for splitting receipts. The app is provided by IDEA Studios, run by Isak Denstadli in Norway. By using the app, you accept these terms. On iPhone, Apple’s standard licence terms also apply.
The app doesn’t move money
DelFair works out who pays whom, but doesn’t move any money. The app is not a payment service and is not connected to Vipps, Swish, MobilePay or your bank. The names belong to their owners.
Check the amounts
Scanning can misread. Check items and totals before you share the settlement. We’re not responsible for wrong amounts or disagreements between friends.
The wheel
The wheel is random and fair, but it’s a game between friends. It is not gambling, and no money goes through the app.
DelFair Pro
- DelFair Pro is a subscription bought in the app through the App Store or Google Play. The price and period are shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- If you start a free trial, it becomes a paid subscription when it ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before.
- You cancel and manage the subscription in your App Store or Google Play settings. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
- Withdrawal rights and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their rules and applicable law.
Fair use of AI scan
To keep AI scan working for everyone, there may be limits on how many scans you can make in a short time.
Liability
The app is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep it working, but can’t promise that it always will. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses. Your rights as a consumer always apply.
Changes
If we change these terms, we update the date at the top. We also announce larger changes in the app.
Governing law
These terms follow Norwegian law. If you are a consumer in another country, you keep the rights you have there.
